PIBC SILVER ANNIVERSARY - A Celebration of God’s Faithfulness

Twenty-five years of God's faithfulness is the sounding theme of PIBC's Silver Anniversary celebration which was held last October 23, 2010 in Taylor, MI.

A heartfelt gratitude to the Lord our God, without whom, this church would cease to progress or even exist. It was a gathering of members of PIBC and its sister churches throughout Michigan. It was not only a celebration of God’s faithfulness to His people but also an acknowledgement of those who labored for the cause of the church through planting churches, home Bible studies, prayer meetings and fellowships. The warmth from everybody was so tangible that it radiated in the entire place as everybody sang praise and thank the Lord for His blessings through prayer and worship.

A special part of the program was dedicated to the recognition of pastors and their families who played a key role in the establishment and growth of PIBC.

Personal testimonies of faith were also shared with the congregation which truly showed God’s presence in each and everyone’s life.

A video montage of PIBC throughout the years was also shown which reflected the humble beginnings as well as the progress that the church has achieved throughout the years, reminding us that there is still work to be done and there are still people to be reached. It is a reminder that God can use us anytime, anywhere, for the purpose of His works.

When the celebration was over, there is one lesson that struck me the most; it is that there is a ministry for everyone. The church could never have too many workers for there is always someone, somewhere who needs a light to their path. It is my prayer that we will always be the carrier of that light.

The Lord is indeed faithful but that faithfulness is not an assurance that we will never experience heartaches, pain or problems, rather it is an assurance that He will see us through and for that we will never be broken – a testimony of faith that envelopes the past, present and future of the Philippine International Baptist Church.

PIBC WHAT?

PHILIPPINE INTERNATIONAL BAPTIST CHURC H
25528 Wick Road, Taylor, MI. 48180313-299-3277
The Philippine International Baptist or PIBC is a congregation dedicated in the promulgation of the Word of God with a mission to share the gift of salvation through a personal and meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. It is composed of people from all walks of life, different backgrounds, nationalities and age group who at one point in their lives were in a search for meaning and purpose or just simply looking for a place they could belong to. A place where friendships bloom, relationships kindle and flourish and more importantly, a place where people come together to know and proclaim the truth about how it is to be a Christian through worship service, fellowship, Bible studies, prayer meetings and various activities that enable its members to support and encourage one another. PIBC is open to EVERYONE who wants to know and learn about Jesus through the Word of God – the Bible. It is open to ANYONE – be it out of curiosity or necessity – or both – ANYONE who wants to know and explore the meaning of our existence. But of course, there is only so much that words can describe and portray, we would like you to experience and to partake in the exciting journey that we are in. As a member of PIBC and I know I’m speaking in behalf of everyone, I invite you to COME AS YOU ARE. There is no need for anything, just an open heart and an open mind and a willingness to allow us to share with you the meaning of our faith. There is no obligation and with this I encourage you to embark on this journey. Our Pastors, church elders and members are willing to walk with you side by side in this exciting journey. To be honest, it is not an easy but a very fulfilling one, what have you got to lose?! As for me: “I was looking for a church, I found a home. I was looking for friends, I found family. I was looking for my Savior and there He was in the midst of us all, just waiting for me to come to Him. My Savior found me and He accepted me just as I am.” --
